Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has denied rumours that he is currently in the process of selling the club to foreign owners.

Reports suggest that a Kazakhstani businessman is keen to purchase the Rossoblu from Preziosi, but the 65-year-old has stated that the rumours are false and hasn’t received any offers.

“There have been no offers,” he told telenord.it.

“From Kazakhstan we have not received any offers to purchase Genoa.”

Genoa sit 19th in the Serie A, one point from safety and with 5 games to go Preziosi will be wanting to concentrate his efforts ensuring his team stay up in the top flight.
