Roma have put a €30m asking price out for attacker and prominent Manchester City target Erik Lamela, it has emerged today.

‘El Coco’ is not only a target for the Premier League champions as he is also attracting interest from Manchester United and Barcelona as well as, most recently, Real Madrid.

Il Messaggero report that City have already sent Patrick Vieira to watch the Argentinean ace and his agent Pablo Sabbag is set to meet with club director Walter Sabbatini next week to discuss the former River Plate man’s future.

The Giallorossi are now adamant once again that the player is not for sale but were someone to come in with an offer of €30m for him then they would certainly consider it.

Sabbag is hoping that talks with the club will see his contract, which expires in 2016, revised to ensure that earns an extra €200,000 season upon season, starting with him on €1.3m per campaign which would have risen to €1.7m by the end of the deal.
