Former AC Milan defender Thiago Silva’s agent admits that while his client has no designs on returning to San Siro, he will always remain fond of the Rossoneri.
The Brazilian left the club last summer to join Paris Saint Germain although his agent also admitted today that Barcelona were keen on securing his signing too.
“Thiago still remains connected to the clubs that he has played for such as Fluminese and Milan,” Paulo Tonetto told Calciomercato. “For them, I will always have nostalgia and I will forver miss Milan.
“It is true that Barcelona were interested last year but then the offer came in from PSG and that satisfied both the player and the club and since then there has been no contact with the Spanish club.
“He has a long contract with the French side and he will respect it. There is absolutely nothing else to say on the matter: He has been in Paris for a year, a city where everything is okay and he is very happy with the choice he made.”
