As his successful season-long loan spell with English Championship side Watford comes to an end, the agent of Udinese forward Matej Vydra has confirmed that it is as yet undecided where the Czech will be playing next season.

The 20-year-old Czech international has been in sparkling form for the English side, hitting the net 20 times in 36 games, but no arrangements have been made for a return to his parent club in Friuli.

“The situation has not yet changed,” his agent told TuttoMercatoWeb. “Watford have five games left to play and he is focused on those until the end of the season.

“In the summer, when it is clear whether Watford will play in the Championship or the Premier League, we will make an assessment.

“We have had continuous talks with  Gino Pozzo (owner of both Udinese and Watford). At the end of the season I will be in Udine to plan for the future.

“There is no reason to force the issue yet – the market opens in the summer.”

Vydra joined Udinese from Banik Ostrava in his homeland in 2010 but has only made two first team appearances for le zebrette. He has been on loan at Vicarage Road since summer 2012 and was recently voted the Championship Player of the Season.
