AC Milan’s Giampaolo Pazzini spoke out of the quality that Italy and Torino centre-back Angelo Ogbonna is showing this season.

“I’ve trained alongside Ogbonna with the national side,” the striker told Tuttosport ahead of this weekend’s game against the Granata.

“He is the prototype of the modern defender – a great physique, but also good technique. He likes to bring the ball out of defence with his head held high.

“He’s a young guy too and I believe that he could play for any side.”

The 24-year-old could be on the market come the end of the season, after many reports suggests that big name clubs will be looking to capture his services.

Pazzini however insists he will not be moving clubs in the summer, stating he is happy and settled in Milan.

“You can take me off the market,” he underlined. “I’m staying here. I’m really happy at Milan, just being able to help this team is enough for me.

“It is better to play in less games for Milan than in more games for any other club.”
