Alessandro Matri has once again reiterated his intention to remain at Juventus after this season.

The Old Lady has been linked with a slew of top strikers such as Gonzalo Higuain, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and have already brought in Spanish international Fernando Llorente.

This has led many to speculate that Matri could be phased out of the squad and subsequently looked to be offloaded this summer.

Despite these speculations the 28 year old remains adamant he will remain with the Bianconeri next season.

“I’m staying, 100 per cent,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“I’ve had no signal from the club to suggest otherwise.

“I don’t know my future, but at the moment my permanency here is certain.”

The Italian international has scored eight times in 21 league appearances this season and seen minutes difficult to come by with competition from fellow strikers Mirko Vucinic, Sebastian Giovinco, and Fabio Quagliarella.
