Napoli wing-back Christian Maggio is not likely to leave the club during the summer, his agent has stated.
The player’s agent Massion Briaschi insists that his representative is happy with the team and will remain in Naples.
“There is no market situation for Maggio,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“He will stay with Napoli.”
The Italian international played his part in the impressive season under Walter Mazzarri, scoring four goals in 30 matches and the agent believes that his client has desire to improve and win with the team.
“Christian wants to win with the Azzurri, a side who have collected some important results. It is his desire to stay, improve and win – even if that will be tough given the competition of Juventus,” Briaschi continued.
Maggio was signed from Sampdoria in 2008, and since has been the first-choice right wing-back.
