Monaco are reportedly ready to make an offer for AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.

The newly promoted club has received a massive influx of cash from their owner, billionaire Russian businessman Dmitry Rybolovlev, who is intent on making waves in Europe over the next few seasons.

According to Portuguese publication A Bola, the newly crowned Ligue 2 winners are preparing a €15 million offer for the Ghanaian international, who has a contract with the Rossoneri until June 2014.

The 26-year-old midfielder was born in Germany but chose to represent his father’s native country at the 2010 World Cup despite having played for Germany’s national teams in all youth categories.

He was signed by Genoa in 2010 and immediately joined Milan on loan, who opted to make his move permanent the following year.

Boateng had a fairly successful first two seasons at Milan, notably in his sophomore season in which his nine goals in all competitions made him the club’s fourth highest scorer.

However his performances this season were inconsistent and the Rossoneri could be willing to part with him if offered the right price.
