AC Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini has stated that the Rossoneri remain focused on Champions League qualification after their easy victory over Pescara on Wednesday evening.

The Frenchman highlighted that third place was the priority at the club, while refusing to be drawn into talks over his future at the club.

“Now we have to think about the match against Roma.” Flamini told Sky Sport Italia.

“The important thing is to stay focused for Roma and recuperate for the game. If we beat Roma we would ensure third place, which is the most important thing. The priority is the Champions League.”

“Since we would be qualifying for the preliminary stage, it would probably decide the future of many. Maybe even for myself, as my contract renewal is important.”

”We’re playing for Allegri, sure, but especially for the third place. It is a priority for everyone.”
