Juan Quintero - PescaraJuan Fernando Quintero has angered Pescara club officials after falsely implying that he has been sold by saying goodbye via Twitter.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who was signed on loan from Atletico National, barely featured for the now-relegated Delfini in the second half of the season due to an injury he sustained during the Under-20 South American Youth Championship.

Despite his injury woes, he has been linked with a move away from the club after a stellar first half to the season and as a result he chose to say farewell to the Delfini supporters.

“Thank you all for giving me such a warm welcome, and I will always hold you all in my heart”, the Colombian international tweeted from his official Twitter account.

His actions have have drawn the ire of president Daniele Sebastiani, as there does not appear to be a deal in place to sell the Colombian, although his desire to leave the Delfini is now apparent.

Quintero, who was named the MVP at the South American Youth Championship and has been linked with a host of clubs including Napoli, Fiorentina, Manchester United, Juventus, and Atletico Madrid.
