Pescara’s Vladimir Weiss could continue his stay in the Serie A next season as Tornio are interested in signing the midfielder this summer.
The Slovakian midfielder has impressed for the Delfini this season, garnering the interest of several clubs in Italy including the Granata.
“I can confirm their interest. They already asked us for him during the January transfer session when they offered Gianluca Sansone in return,” Pescara’s sporting director Daniele Delli Carri told Tuttosport.
“At that moment of the season the boy was too important for us so we decided to reject that approach. Things are different now and the deal could be done.”
Weiss has made 22 league appearances this season while scoring four goals for the relegated Delfini.
