Roma-owned midfielder Matteo Brighi is to return to the capital club following his loan spell at Torino.
The 32 year-old is reported to have had a frosty relationship with coach Giampiero Ventura, despite making 23 appearances for I Granata this term.
Whether Brighi’s poor rapport with Ventura has ensured the former Italy international will not remain in Turin is unclear.
With no permanent offer from Torino on the table, Brighi has an uncertain future. Having also spent last season on loan, at Atalanta, it is unlikely that Roma will want to retain his services.
Brighi netted twice for Torino this season – against Pescara and Siena, and featured regularly in the closing rounds of the campaign.
