didac vila milanAfter failing to make an impact at AC Milan, defender Didac Vila is expected to return to Spain with Real Betis and Sevilla the most likely destinations.

The 24-year-old left-back had been close to a return last season, but a transfer to Valencia collapsed during the final negotiations.

His lack of playing time has put off potential suitors with Sevilla sporting director Vlado Stosic suggesting they will assess all aspects of the deal before deciding to proceed.

“I confirm that we are looking for a left full-back and one of the options there is Didac Vila,” Stosic told Tuttomercatoweb.

“There are things to evaluate, given that the player was stopped for a year.

“Nothing is decided yet. We will evaluate all the details and choose what will be the best solution.”

Since joining the Rossoneri in January 2011, the Spaniard has made just one Serie A appearance and spent the 2011-12 season on loan at former club Espanyol.
