Palermo coach Giuseppe Sannino looks prepared to return to Serie A for next season as the coach of Chievo Verona.
The Italian coach, who was hired twice by Palermo last term and nearly rescued the club from relegation, is said to be attempting to resolve his current situation with the Rosanero.
If the coach is successful at getting out of his contract, Sannino would most likely join the Flying Donkeys ahead of next season.
Sannino was interested in the job at Chievo’s city rivals Hellas until team coach Andrea Mandorlini’s contract was extended until 2014 just a few days ago. During that time Sannino had been approached by Genoa, who he turned down in favour of a move to one of the Verona teams.
