Hamburg the likely destination for Juventus full-back

Juventus’ Reto Ziegler looks set to move to the Bundesliga with Hamburg the new favourites to sign the Swiss international ahead of Schalke.

While both clubs had been equally interested in the 27-year-old it is believed that Schalke have decided they have relevant cover at left-back through Christian Fuchs and Sead Kolasinac.

However, TuttoJuve are reporting that it is unclear if the Swiss will make a permanent switch to Hamburg with a loan move just as likely an outcome.

Ziegler played no part in Juventus’ season last term spending time on loan with Lokomotiv Moscow and then Fenerbahce.
