Lazio have been crowned kings of the peninsula for the 2012/13 season thanks to the efforts of the club’s Primavera side this season.
They met Atalanta in the final of the Campionato Nazionale in a game between two of the most impressive sides in Italy this campaign and disposed of them with a 3-0 win.
After seven minutes they went ahead with a wonderful free kick from Danilo Cataldi which deflated La Dea immediately.
The brilliant Mamadou Tounkara, who had tortured the Orobici’s defence all afternoon then played in Cataldi in the second half with a fine assist and he coolly slotted home.
Tounkara then got the goal his sublime display deserved late in the contest by blasting home and secure the title for the Biancocelesti.
