Anderlecht midfielder Lucas Biglia has stated that he wants to play in the Serie A, with Lazio keen to sign the Argentine this summer.
Biglia has been heavily linked with a move to the Biancocelesti, meaning that the Argentina international see his wish come true.
“I admire the Italian championship and I’d like to play there.” he told La Nacion.
“I’ve been talking to my club directors for some time in an effort for them to comprehend my desire to move on.
“They don’t want me to go, but I have explained my personal reasons for the switch and they have understood.”
The 27-year-old midfielder has also been linked with Premier League clubs Arsenal and Liverpool.
