Gonzalo Higuain - Real MadridNew Juventus signing Fernando Llorente would welcome the signing of Real Madrid forward Gonazlo Higuain.

The Argentine has confirmed he wishes to leave the Bernabeu and Juventus are reportedly eyeing up a move.

“I don’t know which other players will also arrive in Turin,” the recent purchase told RTVE. “There is a lot of talk about Higuain. If that deal comes off then I believe he will be a great signing.”

A bosman move for Llorente was completed in January, however the Spanish forward remained with Athletic Bilbao for the remainder of the season.

Llorente stated his desire to leave the club at the start of the year, which severely impacted his game time with coach Marcelo Bielsa using him sparingly.

“I’m sorry to be leaving Athletic, I do not deny that,” the 28-year-old, who joined Bilbao in 2004, continued.

“I did not think that my adventure with this club would end so quickly, in fact I thought that I would be here until the end of my career.

“But my future is now at Juventus and I expect a fantastic journey. Their project is important and the team is fantastic. Juventus want to take one step closer to the Champions League.
