Fabrizio Miccoli has given his best wishes to new Palermo coach Gennaro Gattuso.
The former AC Milan midfielder was appointed Rosanero coach following Giuseppe Sannino’s departure from the club.
Miccoli, who will leave Palermo this summer after a six year stint at the Stadio Barbera wished the new coach well.
“I heard a few days ago about Gattuso,” the former Italian international said.
“I think he is an exceptional person and a good friend of mine. I’ve known him for 10 years, we played together in the national team.
“I wish him luck to bring Palermo back to the Serie A, where this city deserves to be.”
