Zuniga and RamiresNapoli are hoping to have one of John Obi Mikel or Ramires inserted into the potential transfer of Edinson Cavani to the London club as well as the money they will receive for meeting his release clause.

Local radio reported on Monday that the move taking ‘El Matador’ was all but a done deal and the Partenopei are now looking to perhaps get the best deal they can from the situation.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport insists that as Mikel, who is set to depart the Blues, has not agreed a move to Galatasaray then this opens up the possibility of him being signed by the Vesuviani although former Chelsea interim boss Rafa Benitez does have his sights set on Ramires as he is a massive fan of the Brazilian.

In other transfer speculation concerning the 2011 Coppa Italia winners, they have completed the signing of Dries Mertens but are eyeing up Marseille defender Nicholas Nkoulou.

Galatasaray, who have been heavily linked with a move for Mikel as mentioned, are also interested in securing the signing of Napoli’s Gokhan Inler.
