Alessio Cerci TorinoNapoli’s Riccardo Bigon and Torino’s Gianluca Petrachi met on Wednesday to talk about Alessio Cerci, but the Granata held firm in refusing to open talks over the Italian international.

The Azzurri are one of several clubs interested in landing the 25-year-old, but Torino insist they will not sell the former Fiorentina attacker during this summer’s transfer window.

Sky Sport Italia reports that while talks with Torino stalled, Bigon also met with Catania directors to discuss the availability of Sergio Almiron and Maxi Lopez.

The Napoli director rounded off his busy day by meeting with the agent of Rodrigo Taddei as the Azzurri prepare for a summer of moves as they look to challenge Juventus for the Scudetto next season.
