Palermo’s Josip Ilicic is being targeted by a number of Europe’s top clubs but current sporting director Giorgio Perinetti believes he would he a massive hit at Juventus.
Among those chasing him aside from the Bianconeri are fellow Serie A side Fiorentina and German giants Bayer Leverkusen.
Talking with TMW, he said of Ilicic: “He is a great talents and is a player who belongs with the top clubs.
“Selfishly, I have to recommend him to Juventus and Antonio Conte due to the friendship I have with him and if Josip worked with Antonio, I can assure you it would be a winning combination.”
Despite this though, he admitted that he is continuing negotiations with the Viola over a transfer to Tuscany.
“I have met with them and Ilicic expressed his appreciation towards the game that [Vincenzo] Montella plays and I cannot blame him and we will see in the next few days.”
He also confirmed that Roma remain interested in signing goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano.
