Real Madrid have become the latest club to be linked with Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguayan is almost certain to leave Napoli this summer and the only question is where he will end up.
The answer, according to the media is just about everywhere. Any club with deeper pockets than Napoli has been suggested as a potential buyer.
Tuttomercatoweb report Real Madrid have now entered the rumours because of a fan poll conducted by Punto Pelota asking fans of Los Blancos, which striker is top of their wish list this summer. Edinson Cavani topped the vote with 45.13% with his fellow Uruguyan Luis Suarez second with 18.19%, Zlatan Ibrahimovic in third (17.44%) and Wayne Rooney (10.57%) in fourth.
This may only be a fan poll but the Real Madrid board will have been made aware of what their fans crave and the Spanish giants are one of the select few teams who can afford to take Cavani away from the San Paulo.
