Sunderland looking to sign Parma attacker

Biabiany - ParmaSunderland are interested in signing Parma’s pacey attacker Jonathan Biabiany.

Biabiany, currently in his second spell with Parma, has become a key player the. The winger has made over 70 league appearances for the Gialloblu in the past two seasons.

However, negotiations will not be easy as the 25-year-old Frenchmen is co-owned between Parma and Sampdoria.

British broadcasting channel Sky Sports News have reported Biabiany as a Sunderland target. The English club, managed by Lazio legend Paolo Di Canio, are expected to make at least one signing from Serie A this summer as they now employ an Italian chief scout in Valentino Angeloni.

The new Napoli manager Rafael Benitez, who managed Biabiany briefly when  the duo were at Inter, is also known to be interested.
