Matej Vydra - WatfordMatej Vydra’s agent has revealed that the Udinese player is in talks with Werder Bremen and believes the Bundesliga is the best league in the world.

Vydra spent last season on loan at English Championship side Watford, scoring 22 goals in 44 league games. He was also named the league’s Player of the Season.

The Czech forward is seeking another loan move away from Udinese and has been in talks with Werder Bremen for a number of weeks.

“We have been in contact with Werder Bremen for two to three weeks,” Vydra’s agent Ondrej Chovanec told German newspaper Bild.

“Matej thinks the Bundesliga is currently the best in the world, and he would love to move there.”

The 21 year-old has made just two league appearances for Udinese since he moved from Czech side Banik Ostrava. As well as a loan spell in England, he has also played in Belgium with Club Brugge.

Despite Vydra’s wished to move away from Udinese once more, Chovanec did concede it would be ultimately down to the Italian club.

“A loan move with the right to buy would be the best solution for everyone. Udinese will make the final decision though.”
