Hellas Verona coach Andrea Mandorlini is hoping that Fiorentina striker Luca Toni will sign for the club.
Massimo Donati has already joined from Palermo, but the newly promoted side aren’t done adding new pieces to their squad.
The tactician told Radio Verona that he now wants to add some players to bolster the attack.
“There’s nothing official right now with Toni,” said Mandorlini.
“We know it’ll take some time to work this out, so we’re remaining patient.
“Toni has many admirers. I don’t know if he’ll arrive, but he’s definitely someone we’re interested in signing.”
Toni scored eight goals in 27 League games with the Viola last season.
