Verona secure Palermo trio

US Citta di Palermo v SS Lazio  - Serie AHellas Verona have announced the signing of Palermo midfielder Massimo Donati and two others for their return to Serie A next season.

It was also announced that the Mastini had agreed to buy out the remaining 50 per cent of the contracts of midfielder Oscar Arzamendia and striker Cesar Verdun from the Sicilians.

“Hellas Verona FC announces that it has reached an agreement with the company U.S. Palermo Calcio for the transfer the player Massimo Donati,” the club stated on hellasverona.it.

“After the midfielder will have medical tests, the deal will be completed.

“Redemptions with  U.S. Palermo Calcio have been defined for Hellas Verona FC midfielder Oscar Arzamendia and striker Cesar Verdun.”

Last season, the  32-year-old Donati was often used as a centre-back and made 28 Serie A appearances for Palermo as the side were relegated to the second division.
