Andrea Poli - SampdoriaAC Milan have officially completed the signing of Andrea Poli from Sampdoria on a co-ownership deal.

The 23-year-old was presented as a Rossoneri player at Milanello earlier this week, but the official announcement of a part-exchange deal involving Polish defender Bartosz Salamon only arrived from the club on Thursday.

“AC Milan communicate that they have signed Andrea Poli from UC Sampdoria in part-ownership, with Bartosz Salamon moving in the opposite direction on a similar deal” was the official announcement on acmilan.com.

Poli has joined the Rossoneri after impressing in the heart of the Sampdoria midfield last season, and becomes the third signing of the summer at Milanello.

The Italian international’s arrival has seen young prospect Bartosz Salamon head in the other direction.

The 22-year-old defender is a Polish international but never managed to make an appearance for the San Siro giants despite joining the club from Brescia in January.

Poli joins Riccardo Saponara and Jherson Vergara as the newest players to join Milan.
