Fabio Andreotti, agent of Napoli forward Roberto Insigne, has revealed that the youngster will be making a move to Perugia.
The 19-year-old, who is the younger brother of Partenopei team-mate Lorenzo Insigne, is expected to meet with the lower league club next week to make the transfer official.
Andreotti spoke to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli about his client’s move, which is reportedly set to be a loan deal.
“The official details of Roberto Insigne’s move to Perugia will come on Monday,” said the agent.
“We will meet with Cristiano Lucarelli, who is the new coach at the club.
“It will be the start of a very interesting project.”
Insigne came up through the Napoli youth system and made a total of two appearances with the club’s senior squad. His first appearance came as a substitution in a Europa League match against PSV Eindhoven last December, and his second was as a substitute in a Serie A game against Palermo in January.
