Nicola Bellomo has officially joined Torino after the club bought half of the player’s rights from Bari.
The midfielder was originally involved in a co-ownership agreement with the Serie B club and Chievo, but it has been confirmed that the Granata have bought Bari’s share of the youngster for €1.4 million.
Torino were “delighted” to announce the news of the finalised deal through their official website on Wednesday night.
Previous rumours had linked the 22-year-old to a number of Serie A clubs, including Inter, Napoli, Roma, AC Milan, and current champions Juventus.
Bellomo is a native of Bari and spent his entire youth career, as well as most of his professional career, playing for them. His only time away from the club up until now was during the 2010-11 season, which he spent on loan with Barletta.
The youngster scored six goals in his 25 league appearances for the Galletti during the 2012-13 season.
