New Napoli coach Rafael Benitez wants his team to challenge for the Scudetto next season.
The Spaniard, who took charge of the Partenopei last month, believes they have the squad to pip Juventus for the title.
“Juventus are a strong team but there are other teams who can compete for the title,” Benitez told reporters.
“And our goal is to be among them.
“My desire is to work hard, to win with this team and make the fans happy.
“I have spoken with [Edinson] Cavani, but I am focused on my job.
“If he stays with us, we’ll meet again on July 21.”
Napoli finished second to the Bianconeri last season coming nine points behind with 78 points.
