Andrea Mantovani - PalermoBologna and newly promoted Hellas Verona are reportedly interested in making a move to sign Palermo’s Andrea Mantovani.

The 29-year-old defender joined the Rosanero back in 2011 from Chievo for a fee of  €3.5 million.

The defender would be open to a move to either one of the Serie A sides as the Turin native would not have to play in Serie B, as Palermo were relegated last season.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, the two clubs will look to place an official bid in the coming weeks in hopes of signing the Italian defender.

Mantovani suffered through a difficult campaign last season, making only six appearances after suffering a serious injury to his left knee.
