New Dynamo Kiev defender Aleksandar Dragovic has admitted that he could not come to an agreement with Inter despite serious interest from the Nerazzurri.
The former Basel defender had long been pursued by the Nerazzurri but has joined the Ukrainian giants instead.
“Inter? Look I spoke with them,” he told derstandard.at.
“But we never came to an agreement and at the time my only focus was Basel.
“The situation with Inter just wasn’t for me.
“I initially refused to come to Dinamo Kiev, but they insisted, so in the end I agreed.
“Say what you want, but I think I’ve made a step forward in my career.”
Dynamo Kiev have reportedly paid close to €9 million for the 22-year old Vienna native.
