Fiorentina’s summer spending looks like it will continue as they have been linked with a move for FC Twente goalkeeper Nikolay Mihaylov.
The 25-year-old has stood in between the posts for FC Twente over 80 times since joining from Liverpool on loan in 2007. His deal with the Dutch club became permanent in 2010.
According to Dutch website rtvoost.nl the deal is almost done, and Fiorentina will likely not have to fork over an excessive amount given Mihaylov’s contract expires next summer.
Incidently Nikolai Mihaylov is a third generation player and his father is head of the Bulgarian Football Association.
