Pablo Daniel Osvaldo - RomaRoma striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo has continued to receive a barrage of insults from Roman ultras.

The Italian striker is fresh from a 2012-2013 season that saw him insult the interim head coach Aurelio Andreazzoli, leading many Roma ultras to campaign for his release from the club.

Saturday saw signs hanging that accused Osvaldo of being “cowardly” while Sunday the insults continued, with a sign calling him a worm hung on the practice fields.

While the Roman ultras dislike Osvaldo, recent polls suggest that the majority of Roma fans still defend the embattled striker.

The banner hung on the field Sunday reads: “You aim, threaten, point your finger… Osvaldo coward worm.”

Since arriving from Spanish club Espanyol in the summer of 2011, he has appeared in 55 Serie A matches while scoring 27 goals for the capital club.
