Selhurst ParkThe pre-season friendly match between Inter and Premier League side Crystal Palace has been cancelled.

The match was scheduled to be played at Selhurst Park on August the 10th.

However, according to the Croydon Guardian, the Nerazzurri have withdrawn after agreeing to play against Real Madrid in the USA on the same date.

Inter will face the Spanish side at the Edward Jones Dome in St Louis, Missouri.

Crystal Palace are understood to be working to find another big European team to fill the gap left by Inter.

Inter last played against the London side in 2005, in a game to commemorate the Eagles’ centenary.

Giorgos Karagounis and Obafemi Martins scored the goals in a 2-0 victory for the Milan club, who also took part in friendlies against Norwich, Portsmouth and Leicester City.
