Paris Saint Germain have made Dutch right-back Gregory van der Wiel available for transfer with Inter the favourites to sign the 25-year-old.
The Dutch international only joined PSG in September 2012 from Ajax but was a disappointment in his debut season at the Parc Des Princes and PSG are now looking to offload the player.
According to French website Le10sport.com, the Nerazzuri are in contact with Les Parisiens for the player, although the Ligue 1 champions are unlikely to accept bids of less than €10 million.
Inter director Piero Ausilio has confirmed talks are ongoing with the French side over van der Wiel.
“We have an open discussion with PSG over van der Wiel, We are talking about a loan, so we’ll see,” said Ausilio.
van der Wiel had previously said he wanted to stay in the French capital and prove himself although he now seems open to a move to the San Siro and described a move to Inter as a “possibility”.
