Cristiano Biraghi - ItalyThe agent of Inter defender Cristiano Biraghi has revealed that his client is currently looking for a new club, though the Nerazzurri will ultimately decide what to do with him this upcoming season.

The 20-year-old spent last season on loan with Serie B side Cittadella and had an impressive run with the Italy Under-21 squad during the UEFA European Under-21 Championship this year.

Mario Giuffredi spoke to FcInterNews.it and admitted that while some clubs have shown interest in his client, there have been no serious inquiries yet.

“There has been some interest from Sunderland,” said the agent. “However, nothing materialised.

“There has also been interest from some Serie A clubs, but again nothing special. Only some questions.

“Certainly I expected more because Biraghi had a great season last year and did well in the Under-21 European championship with Italy.

“The guy deserves to play in Serie A, but as of now there is nothing concrete. They should take an example from the Bundesliga where they have not been afraid to take [Luca] Caldirola and [Giulio] Donati.

“Inter must decide what to do. Cittadella is isolated.”
