Juventus midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini is set to complete his move to Premier League side Sunderland next week.
The former Cesena man impressed in the recently held Confederations Cup for Italy including scoring a wonder goal in a 4-2 defeat to Brazil.
According to Sky Sports, the Italy international is set to join Black Cats in a deal worth €8 million and will fly to North East of England on Monday next week for a medical.
Juventus coach Antonio Conte used the 28 year old sparingly last season, as he made only on 17 appearances in Serie A, just 10 of them starts.
