Libor Kozak LazioLazio striker Libor Kozak could be set to depart the Rome club as they look to refresh their attacking options with PSV Eindhoven’s Tim Matavz or Alfred Finnbogason of Heerenveen his potential replacement.

With the Biancocelesti looking to improve the striking department it was believed that the club were identifying possible candidates but it is now thought that someone must make way first and the Czech is that man.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport the 24-year-old PSV striker is Lazio’s first choice, however, interest from Portuguese side Benfica could affect the negotiations.

That could mean a move for the promising Finnbogason, who has already been recommended to AC Milan by former star Rossoneri striker Marco van Basten who coaches the Icelandic international at Heerenveen.

Since joining Lazio in 2010 Kozak has struggled to become a permanent fixture in the Biancocelesti side and failed to score in 18 Serie A appearances last season, although he hit 10 goals in 11 Europa League matches.
