Livorno begin negotiations with Inter over duo

Samuele Longo InterLivorno president Aldo Spinelli has confirmed that the club is currently in negotiations with Inter regarding the possibility of the Nerazzurri loaning youngsters Samuele Longo and Ruben Botta to the Tuscan side.

Spinelli who was speaking at a press conference held for the Amaranto’s new signing Leandro Greco said, “[Stefano] Capozzucca our sporting director is in negotiations with Inter, today [Wednesday] we presented Greco a guy who has a track record of respect and he is a player we wanted to sign based on the suggestions of the coach [Davide Nicola].”

Twenty-one year old Longo spent last season on loan at La Liga side Espanyol where he made 20 appearances.

Botta meanwhile, is recovering from cruciate ligament surgery after suffering an injury to his knee ligaments in April this year, he was signed by Inter from Argentinian side Atletico Tigre in July 2013.
