acquafresca - BolognaLivorno are looking to bolster their attacking options for next season and are interested in signing Robert Acquafresca from Bologna.

The 25-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Levante but has returned to Italy for the new campaign.

Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that the newly promoted Serie A side are monitoring Acquafresca’s role at Bologna as the recent signing of striker Rolando Bianchi could limit his chances at first-team football next season.

Acquafresca has made a total of 41 appearances during his time at Bologna, but only managed to make six appearances for the Rossoblu during the 2012-2013 season.

He made 11 appearances while on loan at Levante, scoring three goals as the Granotes finished in 11th place.
