Maicon hopes to repay Roma faithful

New Roma signing Maicon says he hopes to repay the faith shown in him by the Giallorossi faithful with his performances on the pitch.

The 31-year-old joined the Giallorossi from Premier League giants Manchester City after only one season in England.

“I thank all the fans for the affection they are giving me from the first day in red and yellow. Now I am working to get in the best shape,” he told Roma channel.

“I thank them and I will give my all to repay their love with my performances in field.”

The former Inter man failed to settle in Manchester and only made 13 appearances for City last season.
