Genoa have officially completed the signing of midfielder Mario Alberto Santana from Napoli, it has been confirmed by the club.
The 31-year-old failed to make much of an impact at the San Paolo during his two years there and spent two separate loans spells with Torino and Cesena.
No details have been disclosed by the Grifoni in an official club statement regarding the deal about the fee paid or the length of contract.
However, the club did say that they were happy to have signed a player who “has creativity, imagination and spirit of sacrifice as well as willingness to learn as part of a new team and is someone who is a great technical player.”
