The Uruguayan has been linked with a move away from the Partenopei since the start of the off-season with the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City all linked with a move for his services.
Mediaset report that a €62 million deal between Napoli and PSG has been agreed in principle after the Parisians director of football Leonardo met with Partenopei chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis on Thursday night.
All that remains is for the representatives of the Uruguayan to sort out a contract with the Ligue 1 champions, with early reports suggesting the 26-year-old is set to make over €8 million a season.
The former Palermo man has been a revelation in his time in Naples and has scored 104 goals in 138 games for the club since joining from Palermo in 2010.
