Angelo Ogbonna TorinoAngelo Ogbonna’s transfer to Juventus has been put on hold after discussions between the Bianconeri and Torino were inconclusive on Monday evening.

The defender looked all set to join The Old Lady last week with reports claiming the deal was all-but done but it appears now that the two clubs have not agreed on a price yet.

Tuttosport reported that Juve sporting director Beppe Marotta and Torino president Urbano Cairo held discussions that ended in stalemate.

The Bianconeri are offering €10 million plus 50 percent of Ciro Immobile, or €13m cash for the 25-year-old.

Torino however, are looking for €18m.

Ogbonna, 25, has made 159 appearances for Torino and has six caps for the Italian national side.
