Livorno are a step closer towards signing midfielder Leandro Greco from Greek side Olympiacos as the 27-old has passed a medical at the Tuscan club.
Greco as who started his senior career at Roma, making a total of 43 appearances for the Giallorossi before completing a move to Olympiacos in July 2012, where he has since featured in 36 matches for the current Greek champions.
Speaking to Amaranta.it, Livorno’s sporting director Stefano Capozzucca confirmed that Greco had passed a medical, “Everything is okay, the contract needs to be signed, as it has not been signed yet.”
Capozzucca was asked when the signing of the contract would take place, “Probably Monday or Tuesday” he answered.
