Pescara midfielder wanted by Livorno

Bjarnason PescaraLivorno are looking to add to their midfield by signing Icelandic international Birkir Bjarnason from Pescara.   

Bjarnson was signed by Pescara from Belgium side Standard Liege in June 2013 after spending the 2012-2013 season on loan at the Delfini where he was a key first-team player by making a total of 25 appearances and scoring two goals, however Pescara did not enjoy a successful campaign as the club were relegated to Serie B.

Gazzetta dello Sport, report that the 25-year-old midfielder is a key transfer target for Livorno, however the Amaranto have yet to make official contact with Pescara regarding the sale of the Midfielder.

Bjarnason who first represented his country in 2009,  has made a total of 20 appearances for Iceland and has managed to score three goals.
