Juan Quintero PescaraPorto are prepared to buy Colombian midfielder Juan Fernando Quintero.

The talented 20-year-old, who is currently involved in the Under-20 World Cup, has been linked with a number of clubs including Inter, AC Milan, Juventus and Real Madrid, but it is Porto who are expected to table a sizable bid.

Strong reports in Portugal and Italy are suggesting the Portuguese side are to offer €10 million plus €3 million in bonuses to secure Quintero’s services.

Pescara signed the Colombian on loan last summer, and later made the transfer permanent for €3.5 million.

The player is currently co-owned by Genoa and any deal for the midfielder would have to be approved by the Grifone.

Pescara recently sold 50% of Quintero’s contract to Genoa and the club will receive compensation if the player is sold to Porto.

Last season, Quintero made 17 appearances, but was unable to save Pescara from relegation. It is thought that the large fee Porto have offered for Quintero would help both clubs’ financial situations.
