Edinson CavaniThere are strong reports in France as there are reports coming from the French media that has claimed Uruguyan international Edinson Cavani’s agent has discussed talks with Paris Saint-Germain entourage.

The Paris based side has claimed that there has been talks involving their sporting director Leonardo and the Napoli hitman’s representatives with a meeting to discuss a proposed  €63m transfer that will secure the 26-year-old.

It was reported that the Uruguyan striker was very close to putting pen to paper for Chelsea, but the French paper claims that Pierpaolo Triulzi met with Leonardo in Paris for a formal meeting.

The Italian media also believes that Cavani’s agent Triulzi will meet with President Aurelio Laurentis the discuss the situation at hand.

The current French champions would have to agree to offer the expensive price tag of €63m or come close to the asking price which will open the release of the player off his contract which continues on until 2017.

Cavani has bagged over 70 goals in 104 appearances and has been an inspiration for his team Napoli and Uruguay.
